Transportation is good in Ethiopia, regarding finding microbuses that go everywhere, or from place to place..  But mainly using busses or train can be slow, tiring and crowded..

شبكة المواصلات في أثيوبيا جيدة، من ناحية أنك تستطيع أن تجد ميكروباصات تذهب إلى كل الأماكن..  أو من منطقة إلى أخرى..  ولكن في أحيان كثيرة يكون الأتوبيس أو القطار بطيء ومتعب ومزدحم..

As for the economy..  And the hard currency..  This is really a big issue..

أما حول الإقتصاد، والعملة الصعبة..  فهذا أمر صعب حقاً..

 

 

As I mentioned before that the Master Card that I have doesn’t work here, because there is no ATM machines in all Ethiopia for this card..  Only for Visa Credit Cards!  There is only a small draw machine like those at some shops in Egypt, one at the Hilton Hotel in Addis Ababa, and the other is in one of Bole Street banks..  Yes, only two in all Ethiopia.

فكما ذكرت سابقاً أن كارت ماستر كارد الذي كان معي لا يعمل، حيث لا توجد ماكينة سحب كبيرة ATM Machine في إثيوبيا كلها لهذا الكارت..  يوجد لكارت فيزا فقط Visa Credit Card!  يوجد ماكينة صغيرة مثل الموجودة في بعض المحال بمصر، وهي موجودة في بنك بفندق الهيلتون، وواحدة بأحد البنوك بشارع بولي الشهير.  نعم، إثنان فقط في كل إثيوبيا.

When this card didn’t work, I thought of making another card there, so that I can transfer some money to it from Egypt, or to my account here..  But I discovered that Ethiopia doesn’t have this possibility..  I mean making a Credit Card that works anywhere in the world!  You can only, and only through some very few banks in Ethiopia, make a card that can be used inside Ethiopia only!!!  There is no single Ethiopian that has a Credit Card that he can use abroad, nor online, only if he already made one through a bank account for him outside his mother country!!!

وعندما لم يعمل الكارت هناك، فكرت في إمكانية عمل كارت آخر هناك، يتم تحويل بعض المال من مصر عليه، أو على الحساب الخاص بي..  ولكني إكتشفت أن إثيوبيا لا يوجد بها هذه الإمكانية..  أقصد عمل كارت يصلح للاستخدام في أي مكان في العالم!  يمكن فقط -ومن خلال قلة قليلة جداً من البنوك في إثيوبيا- عمل كارت فيزا، يصلح للاستخدام داخل إثيوبيا فقط!!!  فلا يوجد إثيوبي واحد معه كارت يستطيع إستخدامه إذا سافر خارج بلده، أو استخدامه على الإنترنت، إلا إذا كان قد قام بعمله من خلال حساب بنكي له وهو خارج وطنه!!!
