This library is considered one of the biggest church libraries in Alexandria, concerning the number of books (not size! :).. It has about 8000 books in all the religious fields, mostly in Arabic, and it has some few English & French books too, also some nice collection of general cultural books (literature , poetry, history, ..etc.)

    It serves all the church members, and some times other people from other churches..

    And here is the opening times for the library:

# Everyday from 10:00 - 2:00 pm., except Mondays

# Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 pm

The Library was named after a Roman Saint, who came to Egypt & lived in it.. His name is St. Arsany, and he is given the title "The Teacher of Kings' Children". Click here for a brief of his story.
