79) The Ethiopian Choir

 الجوقة الحبشية

The Choir was standing in the middle of the enclosure and singing beautiful chants and hymns, using the musical instruments of Saint Yared, which I used yesterday..  All standing in awe, and participating in chanting and prayers..  Some Bishops were there..  The celebration was, after the evening prayers and the Holy Liturgy, composed of hymns, songs and sermons..  Some people were holding the famous Ethiopian umbrella with its beautiful colors..  I got to know that they were collecting donations for the repair and restoration of the Church, and the wooden pieces of that work was already showing on the sides and the back of the Church..

وكانت الجوقة في وسط فناء الكنيسة تترنم بالألحان الجميلة، باستخدام الآلات الموسيقية للقديس يارد، والتي استخدمتها بالأمس..  والجميع وقوف في خشوع، ومشاركة في الألحان والصلاة..  وكان حاضراً بعض الآباء الأساقفة..  وكان الاحتفال، وهو ما بعد السهرة من الليلة السابقة والقداس الإلهي، ما بين الألحان والترانيم والعظات..  وكان البعض يحملون المظلة الحبشية الشهيرة بألوانها الجميلة..  وعلمت من البعض أنهم كذلك يقومون بجمع بعض التبرعات لترميم الكنيسة، وكانت أخشاب الترميم موجودة بالفعل على ظهر وجانبي الكنيسة..
