86) The area on the mountain of Debre Libanous

 المنطقة فوق جبل ديبرا ليبانوس

After a long distance, it was about 12:40 now, I asked one of the people passing by about the end of this road, he told me that there is Virgin Mary Church on a 30-minutes walking distance, and St. George Church after 2 hours walking!!  I asked him: “Kidus Teklehaimanot yellam?”, he said: “Yellam”, meaning there is nothing..  I reformed the question to make sure: “Cave bakka??” meaning there it is only the Cave?  He said yes..  And told me that these people did come to the celebration from their nearby villages, and now they are heading back home.

وبعد فترة من السير طالت، وكانت الساعة الآن الواحدة إلا الثلث بعد الظهر، سألت أحد المارة عن نهاية هذا الطريق، فقال لي أنه على بُعد نصف ساعة توجد كنيسة العذراء مريم! وعلى بُعد ساعتين يوجد كنيسة القديس مارجرجس!!  فسألته: "كيدوس تكلاهيمانوت يللِّيم؟" قال لي: "يللم" أي لا يوجد..  فأعدت صياغة السؤال مرة أخرى لأتأكد: "كييف باكا؟؟" أي المغارة بالأسفل فقط؟  فأجاب بالإيجاب..  وأخبرني أن هؤلاء الذين يسيرون في هذا الطريق قد أتوا إلى الاحتفال من قراهم القريبة، ويعودون الآن إلى منازلهم.
