I woke up at 6 a. m., after sleeping less than three hours..  Packed my bag, put the Digital Camera, the Charger, and the Laptop; so I can record everything immediately, and to move the files from the camera so the memory card won’t get full.  I reached the Bus Station in “Merkato” district, which was very close to Saint Taklehaimanot district (which has the Church that I attended the prayers at yesterday).  When I got down from the Taxi, I found someone calling “Gadam..  Debre Libanos”..  I went to him, he pointed at a microbus..  It was much better, more comfortable and faster than a bus for sure..  I jumped in, and we were on our way in just a few minutes..

استيقظت بعد الساعة السادسة صباحاً، بعد نوم أقل من ثلاثة ساعات..  وجهزت حقيبتي، ووضعت الكاميرا والشاحن واللاب توب؛ حتى أدوِّن كل شيء أولاً بأول، وحتى أُفرِغ محتويات الكاميرا إذا ما امتلأت الذاكرة "ميموري".  وصلت محطة الأتوبيس المطلوبة في حي "مركاتو"، وهو قريب جداً من حي "تكلا هيمانوت" الموجود به الكنيسة التي حضرت السهرة بها بالأمس.  وبعد نزولي من التاكسي، وجدت أحدهم ينادي "جادام..  ديبرا ليبانوس"..  فذهبت إليه، فأشار إلى ميكروباص..  وكان ذلك أفضل وأكثر راحة وسرعة من الأتوبيس بالتأكيد..  فتوجهت إليه، وبعد دقائق تحرك.. 

Suddenly, it stopped after half an hour, and the driver got down in agitation, and the driver of the car behind us stopped too, and they started a heated argument, lasted for a long time, everybody got down from the car, and I was trying to understand anything, but couldn’t, and I tried to find a Taxi to get back to the Bus Station, but that area was a bit far from anywhere..!  After a while some of the original passengers got into the car, I joined them..  The car moved, but I heard the word “police” in their speech, I tried to inquire about that from anyone..  I said: “Englizino?  Arabicano?”, nobody could speak English, but one of the passengers knew a bit Arabic, and told me in some few words: "When we go to the police and ask you from where you did you take this car, tell them (…)"!!  I said: "What?!  Police?!  Why?!  And why don’t we just leave the car to go on with our destination"?!  Why am I being put in a situation like that?!  I was annoyed, and I felt that this Debre Libanos visit was not being easy; as I couldn’t do it yesterday either, and now it is almost 8:30, and we’re going to be delayed at the police station..  I found no way out, as the car was already now at the police parking lot..  The driver got down, and seems he was collecting passengers not at his turn or something like this..  Here the driving laws are very strict..  It took a while, and I tried to get outside, but I didn’t want to put myself in a position that might be worse..  I had to wait in the car..  After a while, the girl that knew Arabic came, and said to me that they won’t ask us anything and we’ll go now..  I thanked God that this issue was over, and I got to know that the problem was resolved, and we’ll go by the same car.. 

وبعد نصف ساعة توقف فجأة، ونزل السائق من العربة بانفعال، وتوقف سائق العربة التي ورائنا، وبدأوا في مشادة كلامية، استمرت لمدة طويلة، ونزل الجميع من العربة، وأنا أحاول أن أفهم أي شيء، ولم أعرف شيئاً، وحاولت البحث عن تاكسي لأعود لمحطة الأتوبيس، ولكن المنطقة كانت متطرفة إلى حد ما..  وبعد فترة رأيت بعض من الركاب الذين كانوا معي يعودون إلى العربة، فعدت أيضاً معهم إلى مكاني..  ودارت العربة، ولكن سمعت كلمة "بوليس" في سياق الحديث، وحاولت أن أستفسر من أي أحد، فقلت.. "إنجليزينو؟، أرابيكانو؟"ولم يعرف أحد الإنجليزية، ولكن واحدة من الراكبات كانت تعرف قليل من اللغة العربية، وقالت لي بكلمات متناثرة: "عندما نذهب للبوليس ويسألونك من أين ركبت، قل لهم (...)"!!  قلت: "نعم؟!  بوليس؟!  لماذا؟  ولماذا لا نترك العربة ونذهب في طريقنا"؟!  ولماذا أوضع في موقف مثل هذا؟!  وتضايقت، حيث شعرت أن موضوع ديبرا ليبانوس لا يتم بسهولة؛ حيث لم تنجح محاولة الأمس أيضاً، وها هي الساعة الثامنة والنصف، وسوف نتعطل في البوليس..  ولم أجد مفراً من الانتظار، حيث دخلت العربة بالفعل في موقف عربات البوليس..  ونزل السائق، ويبدو أنه كان يقوم بتحميل ركاب في غير دوره أو شيء كهذا..  وهنا قوانين المرور صارمة جداً..  واستمر الأمر بعض الوقت، وحاولت أن أخرج خارجاً، ولكن لم أحب أن أضع نفسي في موقف قد يكون أسوأ..  فانتظرت داخل العربة..  وبعد قليل وجدت الفتاة التي كانت تعرف العربية، تقول لي، لن يسألونا في شيء وسوف نذهب الآن..  فشكرت الله على انتهاء المشكلة، وعلمت أيضاً أن الأمر قد تم حله، وسوف نذهب بنفس العربة إلى الدير..
